CABlog issue #3-Scripps vs. Cablevision
NOTE: Scripps Networks and Cablevision have reached an agreement restoring Food Network and HGTV to 3 million customers.  Following is a blog published before that agreement.
 
Did Scripps Networks do the right thing by deploying a massive marketing campaign urging Cablevision customers to call an 800 number or to go online to complain over the loss of the two channels?

I don’t think so!

In fact, they may have made a big-time strategic blunder!
